Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Read and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to understand project specifications.
- Cut, shape, and clean metal surfaces to remove moisture, grease, or rust using powered saws, plasma cutters, and grinders.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal parts in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Inspect and test welded surfaces for structural flaws, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.
- Clean and maintain welding machinery, ensuring all tools are safe and in proper working order.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing protective heat-resistant gear and maintaining a hazard-free work area
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid welding certificate
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant welding experience
- Good knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and equipment
- Ability to work safely within a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Willingness to work shifts
- Gender: Male
