Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating the organization’s website content, layout, and functionality.
- Perform routine website checks to ensure uptime, usability, and responsiveness across devices.
- Upload and format text, images, videos, and other digital assets using a CMS (e.g., WordPress).
- Fix basic website issues related to layout, links, forms, or plugins.
- Upload, update, and edit website content, images, and blog posts to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot basic website issues, such as broken links, display issues, or functionality errors.
- Assist in managing domains, hosting, and basic server-related tasks (under supervision).
- Support website backups, updates, and security patches.
- Test new features, plugins, or updates before deployment.
- Assist with SEO, site speed optimization, and ensure mobile-friendly responsiveness.
- Monitor site uptime, check for security updates, and assist in maintaining data protection.
- Extract and analyse basic website performance reports using tools like Google Analytics.
- Document website processes, updates, and known issues.
- Provide basic user support for internal website users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Design, or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in web design, development, or web support roles.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Knowledge of website security fundamentals.
