Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations Management: Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise, schedule, and delegate tasks to warehouse staff; train team members on equipment operation, packing standards, and picking accuracy.
- Inventory Integrity: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with the Warehouse Management System ($WMS$), minimizing discrepancies and shrinkage.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines (such as OSHA or equivalent local regulations), ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment (like forklifts and pallet jacks), and organize regular safety briefings.
- Space & Workflow Optimization: Plan layout and space management to maximize storage capacity and optimize picking routes for faster fulfillment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an OND
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
