Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Volunteer Graphic Designer at MedVisibility Ltd. The Graphic Designer will create visual assets for social media, websites, presentations, and campaigns that support personal branding and medical communications. Daily tasks include designing graphics that align with brand guidelines, adapting complex medical concepts into simple and visually clear layouts, and collaborating with writers and strategists to maintain consistent messaging. The role also involves preparing files for digital use, iterating on feedback from team members, and participating in virtual check-ins and planning sessions. The position is ideal for individuals looking to build a portfolio in healthcare-focused design while contributing to meaningful, educational content.
Qualifications
- Strong graphic design skills, including layout, typography, and visual hierarchy, with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design software.
- Experience creating digital assets for social media, websites, and presentations, with an understanding of responsive and platform-specific design requirements.
- Ability to translate complex or technical information into simple, clear, and engaging visuals suitable for diverse audiences.
- Attention to detail, including consistency in branding, color usage, and formatting, as well as the ability to follow established style guides.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team and respond constructively to feedback.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a virtual environment.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant design work; experience or interest in healthcare, science communication, or education-focused projects is a plus.
- Currently studying or recently completed a program in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
