Job Title: Documentary Filmmaker / Videographer

About the Role
We are looking for a Documentary Filmmaker / Videographer to document a live construction project. The goal is to capture the full journey of the project and turn it into a clear, engaging visual story.
You will be responsible for filming real on-site activities, tracking progress over time, and creating video content that shows how the project develops—from groundwork to final delivery.
This role requires someone who is comfortable working in active construction environments and can handle both filming and editing.
Key Responsibilities
- Film the full construction process from beginning to completion
- Capture key stages such as groundwork, structure build, installations, and final handover
- Record interviews with engineers, site managers, and workers
- Turn daily site activity into a structured visual story
- Plan and manage regular filming schedules based on project progress
- Edit footage into episodes, highlight videos, and long-form documentary content
- Organize and store all video files properly for easy access and backup
- Work closely with project and communications teams to align content with project goals
Equipment & Technical Requirements:
1.Camera & Field Gear
- Professional cinema or mirrorless camera (e.g. Sony FX series, Canon C-series, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera or similar)
- Gimbal or stabilizer for smooth movement shots
- Drone for aerial footage (optional)
- Lavalier and shotgun microphones for interviews
- Portable lighting for indoor or low-light areas
2.Editing Setup
- High-performance laptop or desktop capable of editing 4K/6K footage
- Editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
- Basic to advanced skills in color correction and sound editing
- Good file management system (external drives, SSDs, or cloud storage)
3.Required Experience
- Experience in documentary filming, video production, or long-form content creation
- Strong portfolio showing real-world filming work
- Experience working in outdoor or industrial environments is an advantage
- Ability to handle both filming and editing independently
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Detail-oriented and observant
- Comfortable working in active construction environments
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Good communication with site teams and stakeholders
- Flexible and able to adjust quickly to changing site conditions.
