Responsibilities:

End-to-End Content Production: Shoot, direct, and edit high-quality, aesthetic short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and high-resolution photography showcasing client transformations, educational hair care tips, and our premium brand experience.
On-Site & At-Home Coverage: Attend our Lekki studio and accompany the team to select premium at-home concierge appointments to capture raw, authentic luxury moments, behind-the-scenes content, and client journeys.
Visual Direction & Aesthetic Curation: Establish and maintain a cohesive, premium visual identity across all video and photo assets. Ensure all content aligns with a high-end, luxury lifestyle aesthetic.
Trend Spotting & Audio Strategy: Stay ahead of beauty, luxury, and hair trends. Actively source and adapt viral audios, transitions, and video formats to fit the sophisticated brand identity of My Haire Concierge.
Asset Management: Organize and maintain a clean digital library of raw and edited footage, ensuring content is readily available for publishing schedules.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience minimum as a Videographer, Content Creator, or Video Editor (experience in luxury beauty, wellness, hospitality, or fashion in Lagos is highly preferred).
A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating a high-end visual aesthetic, excellent pacing, seamless video editing skills, and dynamic storytelling.
Mastery of Mobile & Camera Production: Expert-level knowledge of iPhone/DSLR photography and videography, including proper lighting (natural and artificial), framing, stabilization, and clear audio capture.
Advanced Editing Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro) and basic graphic design tools (Canva/Photoshop) for covers and text overlays.
Industry Context: A deep understanding of and appreciation for Black hair textures, protective styling, extensions, and natural hair care is highly advantageous.
The "Luxury" Eye: Exceptional eye for detail. You instinctively understand what "premium" looks and feels like and how to make spaces and experiences look aspirational on camera.
Professionalism: Exceptional communication skills and a high level of discretion and professionalism when interacting with high-profile clients during shoots.
Proximity: Must reside in Lagos with easy proximity to Lekki for regular, on-the-go content capture.
