Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into engaging and professional-quality content
• Assemble recorded footage, graphics, sound effects, music, and visual elements into final productions
• Trim, sequence, and enhance video clips to create compelling narratives and storytelling
• Add transitions, motion graphics, animations, subtitles, and visual effects where required
• Perform color correction, color grading, and audio enhancement to improve production quality
• Collaborate with producers, content creators, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and creative direction
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and production archives
• Review and revise video content based on feedback from stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging video technologies
• Assist with video production planning and content development when necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, OND, or relevant certification in Film Production or a related field
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, Multimedia Editor, Content Editor, or similar role
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of video production workflows and post-production processes
• Experience with audio editing, motion graphics, and visual effects
• Excellent storytelling, creative, and visual communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
