Job summary
As an Editor, you are responsible for assembling recorded raw materials into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble recorded raw material into finished broadcast-ready productions.
- Decide which footage best conveys the intended message and remove unnecessary parts.
- Create short-form and long-form content for social media and other platforms.
- Source/create graphics, animations, music, sound effects, and special effects for video projects.
- Edit and verify images, sound, and effects for logical and accurate flow.
- Reorder and fine-tune content for smooth sequencing and storytelling.
- Discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices.
- Synchronize audio after production shoots.
- Research and assess editing ideas and concepts.
- Prepare monthly reports on edited jobs.
- Input, synchronize, and store uncut footage and sound files.
- Suggest/select suitable music and pictures for the content.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Managing Director.
Requirements:
- Certification in Film/Media Production.
- 3–5 years’ experience as an Editor in a media company with a proven track records.
- Storytelling ability.
- Strong eye for detail and creativity.
- Passion for film and video editing.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut.
