Job descriptions & requirements
- Edit raw video footage into high-quality and engaging video content.
- Review and select the best footage, images, audio, and other media assets.
- Create videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital channels.
- Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, subtitles, captions, transitions, and visual effects.
- Correct video colour, lighting, audio quality, and other technical elements.
- Create promotional videos, advertisements, presentations, interviews, and event coverage.
- Work with presenters, content creators, photographers, and marketing teams to develop video content.
- Follow scripts, storyboards, briefs, and brand guidelines when editing videos.
- Produce different video formats and sizes suitable for various platforms.
- Organize and maintain video files, footage, project files, and digital assets.
- Ensure all completed videos are properly reviewed before publication.
- Make revisions based on feedback from management or the content/marketing team.
- Keep up with current video-editing trends, social media formats, and creative techniques.
- Assist with filming and recording when required.
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
