What This Role Is About
Our client is looking for a Vice President – Human Resources, based in Nigeria, to lead the overall people strategy and HR function across a large, fast-growing organisation.
This role will be responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
You will lead talent management, organisational development, employee engagement, and leadership capability building.
You will also oversee HR operations, workforce planning, performance management, and change initiatives, ensuring the organisation is well-positioned for sustained growth and scalability. Acting as a key member of the leadership team, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders to build a high-performance culture.
The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit
- 15+ years of overall HR experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Nigeria market is mandatory.
- Experience in FMCG, Retail, or Manufacturing is a must.
- Proven track record in a senior HR leadership role (Director / VP level).
- Strong expertise in HR strategy, organisational development, and talent management.
- Experience working closely with executive leadership teams in driving business transformation.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities.
