Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Veterinary Medicine Professional at Michael Okpara’ University of Agriculture Umudike, located in Umuahia. The role involves providing veterinary care to animals, performing medical examinations and surgeries, ensuring animal health, and offering consultations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues, students, and animal owners to promote animal welfare.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Animal Care, Medicine, and Veterinary Surgery
- Comprehensive knowledge of Animal Health and disease prevention
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with colleagues, students, and animal owners
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field from an accredited institution
- Certification or licensure to practice veterinary medicine is required
- Experience in an academic or research setting is an advantage
