*Experienced Verification Officer (1–3 Years)*
*Consulting Firm | Lekki phase 1, Lagos | Hybrid: 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote*
Our consulting firm is seeking a meticulous *Verification Officer* to validate client data, third-party credentials, and documentation across multiple engagements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
*What you’ll do:*
- Perform KYC/KYB checks and background verification for client onboarding and vendor engagements
- Validate academic, employment, and business registration documents for consulting projects
- Conduct database searches, reference checks, and open-source verification
- Prepare verification reports with clear findings for project managers and clients
- Flag red flags and ensure adherence to regulatory and client-specific standards
*You’ll need:*
- 1–3 years experience in verification, due diligence, background checks, or compliance
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Familiarity with CAC searches, credit bureau checks, and OSINT tools is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; able to manage multiple deadlines
- HND/BSc in Business, Social Sciences, Law, or related field
