Responsibilities:
Verification:
- Pre-disbursement Verification: Conduct field visits to verify the physical existence, address, and business operations of borrowers and their guarantors.
- Documentation & Accuracy: Examine, validate, and ensure the accuracy of KYC documents and other information provided by applicants.
Recovery:
- Debt Collection: Initiate, follow up, and collect on delinquent accounts and overdue loans through telephone calls, emails, and field visits.
- Daily Monitoring: Track and report on daily, weekly, or monthly recovery targets, maintaining detailed logs of contacts
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business, Finance, Banking, Law, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in debt collection,
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- A valid driver's license
- Communication: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Crucial for spotting inconsistencies, fraudulent documents, or inaccurate data.
- Integrity and Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive, personal, or financial data securely.
- Negotiation & Persuasion: Ability to negotiate payment plans, settle debts, and persuade clients to repay.
- Skip Tracing: Proficiency in locating debtors who have become unreachable.
- Male for gender balance
