A Vendor Onboarding Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, approaching, and onboarding new vendors to the company’s platform or marketplace. Job Description/Requirements
- Identify and prospect potential vendors through research, cold outreach, referrals, and field visits.
- Present the company’s platform, services, and partnership benefits to potential vendors.
- Conduct sales pitches, negotiate terms, and close onboarding agreements.
- Guide vendors through the complete onboarding process, including documentation, registration, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, compliance, logistics, marketing) to ensure timely vendor activation.
- Ensure vendors understand platform policies, product listing procedures, pricing guidelines, and operational workflows.
- Monitor vendor performance during the initial onboarding period and provide necessary support.
- Maintain accurate vendor data and records in CRM or onboarding systems.
- Achieve weekly/monthly onboarding and sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships with vendors to encourage continuous engagement and retention.
Requirements:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience in vendor acquisition, sales, business development, or account management (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or logistics).
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
- Knowledge of marketplace operations, onboarding tools, or CRM platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
