Job Summary

A Vendor Onboarding Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, approaching, and onboarding new vendors to the company’s platform or marketplace. The role focuses on expanding the vendor base, ensuring smooth onboarding processes, and helping partners meet operational requirements. This position combines sales and relationship management.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and prospect potential vendors through research, cold outreach, referrals, and field visits.
  • Present the company’s platform, services, and partnership benefits to potential vendors.
  • Conduct sales pitches, negotiate terms, and close onboarding agreements.
  • Guide vendors through the complete onboarding process, including documentation, registration, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, compliance, logistics, marketing) to ensure timely vendor activation.
  • Ensure vendors understand platform policies, product listing procedures, pricing guidelines, and operational workflows.
  • Monitor vendor performance during the initial onboarding period and provide necessary support.
  • Maintain accurate vendor data and records in CRM or onboarding systems.
  • Achieve weekly/monthly onboarding and sales targets.
  • Build long-term relationships with vendors to encourage continuous engagement and retention.


Requirements:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience in vendor acquisition, sales, business development, or account management (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or logistics).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of marketplace operations, onboarding tools, or CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Persuasive and confident.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Results-driven with a proactive approach.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
