Value-Added Services Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Telecom VAS Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, supporting, and maintaining Value-Added Services platforms for telecom operators, including SMS, USSD, CRBT, IVR, content services, messaging platforms, charging integrations, and mobile application services.

The role requires hands-on experience with telecom systems, Linux servers, databases, APIs, network protocols, and integration with mobile network operator environments. The candidate should be able to troubleshoot service issues, support platform operations, prepare technical documentation, and work with internal teams, vendors, and telecom customers to ensure reliable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and support Telecom VAS platforms and related applications.

Manage services such as SMS, USSD, IVR, CRBT, content portals, mobile apps, and messaging platforms.

Support integrations with telecom systems, billing platforms, charging gateways, SMSCs, USSD gateways, and third-party APIs.

Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure high service availability.

Perform database queries, log analysis, system health checks, and service reporting.

Work with development, network, billing, and customer support teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in telecom VAS, telecom application support, systems engineering, or platform operations.

Good understanding of Linux, databases, APIs, telecom protocols, and mobile network environments.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer support skills.

Experience with telecom operators, aggregators, content services, or VAS platforms will be an advantage.
