Job summary
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Utility Technician to join the team of operators manning our the utility systems within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in the operation and maintenance of key plant utilities such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, HVAC systems, and power generation equipment

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance activities on plant utility systems.
- Monitor the performance, availability, and efficiency of utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance activities on plant utility systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports, including work orders and spare parts usage.
- Ensure optimal operation and basic troubleshooting of the following systems: Boilers (steam generation systems), Chillers (process and comfort cooling systems), Air compressors (compressed air systems), AHUs, HVAC systems, and Diesel and gas generators
- Ensure proper spare parts planning and inventory control for utility systems.
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Support energy efficiency initiatives and monitor utility consumption trends.
- Participate in shutdown planning and execution for utility systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an OND in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in utility operations or maintenance within a manufacturing or process plant.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and practices.
- Practical understanding of industrial utility systems (boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, generators).
- Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to relocate to Ibeju-Lekki.
