IT Officer / IT & Network Technician

Responsiblities:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV camera systems and video management software
• Setting up and managing network routers, switches and VLANs
• Configuring and monitoring firewalls to ensure network security
• Troubleshooting network connectivity, latency, hardware and other technical issues
• Performing regular maintenance, updates and backups of network equipment
• Monitoring network performance and responding promptly to outages or security incidents
• Maintaining proper documentation of network configurations and CCTV layouts
• Providing general IT support to staff as required

Requirements:

• ND or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant IT/networking experience
• Proven experience in CCTV installation and configuration
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching, including Cisco, Ubiquiti, MikroTik or similar systems
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls such as Sophos, pfSense, Fortinet or similar
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve hardware and network problems
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar certifications will be an added advantage
• Gender Preference: Male.

Remuneration: NGN 300,000 – 400,000
