UI/UX Designer
Job summary
We are seeking a creative and user-focused UI/UX Designer responsible for designing intuitive, accessible and visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, business stakeholders and users to translate business requirements

Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to understand customer needs, behaviours, and pain points.
- Develop user personas, customer journeys and experience maps.
- Create information architecture and user flows.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity interface designs.
- Design responsive web and mobile interfaces.
- Develop and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and software developers.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Maintain consistency across digital products and platforms.
- Conduct competitor and industry design research.
- Analyze user behaviour and recommend UX improvements.
- Participate in product discovery and design-thinking workshops.
- Prepare design specifications and assets for developers.
- Review implemented interfaces to ensure design accuracy.
- Continuously improve products based on analytics, research, and user feedback.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Digital Design or related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years' professional UI/UX design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile product design.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma.
- Experience with Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design principles.
- Understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction design principles.
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and software-development workflows is an advantage.
- Strong research, problem-solving and communication skills.
