UI/UX Design Tutor
Job summary
We are seeking to hire a creative and experienced UI/UX Design Tutor to facilitate structured and hands-on UI/UX design training sessions. The role is remote and runs for 8–10 weeks, with classes held every Saturday for 6 hours per facilitator. The ideal candidate will have strong practical design experience and the ability to guide learners through real-world UI/UX workflows.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate remote UI/UX design training sessions every Saturday.
- Teach user-centered design principles, design thinking, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Guide learners through UX research methods such as user interviews, personas, and user journeys.
- Teach UI design fundamentals, including layout, typography, color theory, and component design.
- Train learners on industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Support learners in creating wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and basic design systems.
- Review learner projects and provide constructive feedback and mentorship.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, design challenges, and case studies for the program duration.
- Track learner progress and support skill development throughout the 8–10 week period.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve training content and delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or UI/UX Design Tutor/Trainer.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI and UX design projects (required).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Solid understanding of UX research, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain design concepts clearly to beginners and intermediate learners.
- Reliable availability for 6-hour Saturday sessions throughout the 8–10 week program.

Working Hours: 6 hours per session (per facilitator)
Remuneration: NGN 150,000 (data allowance inclusive)
