UI/UX Design Instructor
Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative UI/UX Design Instructor to join our training team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering practical UI/UX design training, guiding students through design projects, and equipping them with the skills required to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional digital experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical and engaging UI/UX design lessons.
- Teach UI/UX design principles, processes, and best practices.
- Teach user research, user personas, user journeys, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Train students on design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and other relevant design software.
- Guide students in creating responsive and user-friendly web and mobile interfaces.
- Teach visual design principles, typography, colour theory, layout, and design systems.
- Guide students through real-world design projects and case studies.
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Assess students through assignments, design projects, presentations, and practical assessments.
- Review students’ designs and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide students in developing professional UI/UX portfolios.
- Keep course content updated with current design trends, tools, and industry practices.
- Maintain a professional, creative, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or relevant professional qualification in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong practical experience in UI/UX or Product Design.
- Proficiency in Figma and other relevant UI/UX design tools.
- Strong understanding of user experience and user interface design principles.
- Knowledge of user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Good understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, visual hierarchy, and design systems.
- Experience designing responsive websites and mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating practical UI/UX design projects.
- Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain design concepts clearly to students at different skill levels.
- Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or industry experience is an added advantage.
