Job summary
Remote UI/UX Designer (Nigeria) for an accelerated AI HealthTech MVP sprint. Help us design a premium, minimalist SaaS platform that transforms complex biometric data into clean, intuitive experiences. Deliver pixel-perfect Figma mockups and a cohesive design system under a tight timeline. Ideal for masters of clean data visualization.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Establish a Premium Design System: Create a lean, cohesive visual identity from scratch, including color tokens (focusing on a clinical minimalist aesthetic: clean whites, deep slate typography, soft greens/teals), typography scales, and unified component states.
- Design Complex Data Screen Layouts: Wireframe and deliver high-fidelity interactive desktop mockups for our core MVP workflows: The Practitioner Hub: A clean, high-level data command center tracking multiple users and action statuses, The Intake Engine: An intuitive data-ingestion screen featuring clear drag-and-drop zones for messy files and optimization toggles, The Insights Blueprint:A master dashboard that beautifully structures dense biometric results, timeline trajectories, and actionable text protocols.
- Parallel Design Collaboration: Work dynamically with a second designer to split layout ownership, maintaining absolute consistency across your shared design system.
- Developer-Ready Handoff: Package all assets perfectly inside Figma using auto-layouts, structured component variants, and clean naming conventions so our MERN developer can convert them to Tailwind CSS code instantly.\
Requirements:
- Figma Wizardry: Absolute mastery of Figma is non-negotiable. You must have advanced experience utilizing auto-layout (v4), component properties, variants, and local variables for seamless responsive scaling.
- Data Visualization Expertise: A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to clean up overwhelming amounts of raw data, numbers, or text, and arrange them into structured, scannable cards, tables, and progress indicators.
- B2B SaaS Layout Instincts: Deep understanding of modern software navigation paradigms, layout grids, modal hierarchies, and state changes (loading skeletons, empty states, hover effects).
- Clinical Minimalist Aesthetic: A design philosophy that favors whitespace, typographic hierarchy, and structural neatness over heavy graphics, custom illustrations, or loud branding elements.
- Extreme Velocity & Ownership: You must be prepared to deliver finalized visual directions within the first 48 to 72 hours of the sprint and lock down high-fidelity screens by Day 5
- Developer-Centric Thinking: You design with an understanding of how CSS grids, Flexbox, and component frameworks (like Tailwind or Shadcn/ui) operate. Your designs should be highly systematic, making them easy to translate into frontend code.
- High-Fidelity Communication: Exceptional responsiveness on Slack, WhatsApp, Discord, and Figma comments is required to manage daily parallel design handoffs without friction.
