Treasury and Reconciliation Officer

Responsibilities:

Daily Reconciliation

• Reconcile NGN bank accounts, USD domiciliary accounts, and crypto wallets every day.
• Match inflows and outflows across platforms (banks, exchanges, P2P platforms, POS, OTC trades, etc).
• Track buy/sell rates, spreads, fees, and profit margins for each transaction.
• Validate customer balances and ensure all trades are recorded.

Treasury & Liquidity Management

• Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity positions across NGN, USD, and crypto.
• Ensure adequate float/capital for daily trading operations.
• Track holdings for stablecoins (e.g., USDT, USDC), BTC, ETH, or other tokens used for settlement.

Weekly & Monthly Financial Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly account balance reports.
• Provide P&L statements for FX and crypto trading activities.
• Prepare variance analysis and highlight anomalies.

Compliance & Internal Control

• Maintain proper documentation for all FX and crypto transactions.
• Support KYC/AML checks on customers.
• Implement internal controls to prevent fraud, mistakes, and system errors.

Audit & Documentation

• Maintain updated ledgers and transaction logs.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure all reconciliations are signed off and submitted on time.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting, reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
• Experience with FX markets, domiciliary banking, and crypto wallets/exchanges.
• High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work with multiple transaction systems and platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and zero-error mindset.
• Integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
