Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive travel consultation services, including itinerary planning, destination recommendations, and travel advisory support.
- Responding promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate travel information and assistance.
- Booking flights, hotels, tours, and related travel arrangements for clients in line with company procedures.
- Maintaining and updating client records, itineraries, and payment confirmations.
- Coordinating and following up with travel partners, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth trip execution.
- Preparing detailed travel itineraries, proposals, and supporting documents for client approval.
- Assisting in preparing invoices, receipts, and basic financial documentation for travel bookings.
- Handling confidential client information with discretion and professionalism.
- Staying updated on global travel trends, airline policies, visa requirements, and destination information.
- Ensuring client satisfaction through efficient service delivery, problem-solving, and proactive communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Agent, or in a similar customer service role within the travel and tourism industry.
- IATA Travel Agent Certification is required.
- Proficiency in booking and reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and itinerary-building software is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, client-oriented approach.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in bookings and documentation.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for travel and strong knowledge of destinations, airlines, and travel products.
