Job summary
The Training Facilitator (Rickshaw Driver Leads) is responsible for training, coaching, and evaluating SGX rickshaw driver leads to ensure high performance, safety compliance, operational excellence, and exceptional service delivery. The role ensures that all rickshaw drivers understand SGX standards, operational procedures, and company values while maintaining a strong culture of discipline, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Training & Facilitation:
- Deliver structured training sessions (classroom and field-based) for new rickshaw driver leads.
- Facilitate refresher trainings, safety briefings, and performance improvement sessions.
- Develop training materials, manuals, onboarding guides, and SOPs tailored to SGX operations.
- Ensure each trainee fully understands route management, safety protocols, service expectations, and reporting procedures.
Field Coaching & Performance Monitoring:
- Conduct on-field coaching for rickshaw driver leads during their first week after training.
- Observe driver behavior, riding patterns, and customer interaction to ensure compliance.
- Provide correction, mentorship, and continuous performance guidance.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend retraining where necessary.
Compliance, Safety & Discipline:
- Train rickshaw leads on SGX’s safety standards, traffic rules, and operational guidelines.
- Ensure drivers understand company disciplinary policies, code of conduct, and customer service expectations.
- Report safety violations, misconduct, or non-compliance cases to the operations team for follow-up.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate attendance sheets, training records, evaluation reports, and certification logs.
- Submit weekly training reports to the Head of Operations.
- Track performance of trained rickshaw leads and flag operational concerns early.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest areas for improvement.
Recruitment Support (Where Needed):
- Assist with interviewing, screening, and evaluating new driver candidates.
- Participate in practical assessments and onboarding processes.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations, field supervisors, HR, and rider support teams.
- Collaborate in designing new training modules or upgrading existing ones.
- Provide feedback to management on trends, challenges, and operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any discipline.
- Experience training commercial drivers, riders, field agents, or similar roles (advantageous).
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Good understanding of traffic rules, city routes, and basic safety protocols.
- Ability to manage groups, enforce discipline, and communicate clearly.
- Physically fit, confident, firm, and able to perform field supervision.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English and relevant local languages.
