Responsibilities:
- Assist senior butchers in meat cutting, trimming, and preparation
- Learn proper handling, storage, and preservation of meat products
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and workstations
- Follow health, safety, and NAFDAC/food regulatory guidelines
- Support inventory management and stock rotation
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and comply with company procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE
- Interest in butchery, food processing, or meat production
- Physical stamina and ability to work in cold environments
- Good hygiene practices and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, take instructions, and grow in the role
