A company in the travel and tourism industry based in Lagos is urgently seeking a Ticketing Officer to join its team. This is a technical, detail-driven role for someone who is confident issuing tickets, managing reservations, and ensuring every client booking is processed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:
- Flight searches and fare quotations across multiple airlines and routes
- Ticket reservations and issuance using GDS and airline booking platformsReissuances, rebooking, and cancellation processing
- Online check-in management and boarding pass distribution
- Verifying passenger details — names, dates, routes — against travel documents
- Passport validity checks before ticket issuance
- Maintaining accurate booking records in Excel and Google Sheets
- Sending booking confirmations and travel updates to clients
- Escalating booking issues or fare discrepancies promptly
- Submitting structured daily activity reports
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a ticketing or travel operations role
- Hands-on experience with at least one GDS platform — Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo
- Strong attention to detail — zero tolerance for name errors, date mismatches, or booking inaccuracies
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy under pressure
- Good written communication for client-facing correspondence
- Proactive approach — flags issues early, does not wait to be asked
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
