A Ticketing Officer is responsible for handling flight and travel reservations, ticket issuance, amendments, cancellations, and customer support. The role involves ensuring that clients receive accurate travel information, competitive fare options, timely ticketing services, and professional assistance throughout the booking process.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Flight Reservations & Ticketing: Make domestic and international flight reservations for clients.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to clients' enquiries regarding flights, fares, schedules, and bookings.
- Booking Management: Monitor and manage existing reservations.
- Fare & Payment Management: Compare available fares and provide suitable options to clients.
- Travel Documentation: Verify passenger names, passport details, travel dates, destinations, and other relevant information.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly ticketing and sales reports.
- Airline & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with airlines, travel suppliers, and booking platforms when necessary.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Follow company ticketing procedures and airline rules.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify opportunities to promote the company's ticketing and travel services.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Degree
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
