Territory Manager
Job summary
The Territory Manager (Lagos, Onsite) drives business growth and loan portfolio expansion for a fast-growing retail fintech and consumer lending organization. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this professional will lead an assigned territory to simplify loan accessibility, enhance financial inclusion, and accelerate customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:
Sales & Territory Management:
- Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Drive customer acquisition and portfolio growth across assigned locations.
- Monitor territory performance and identify opportunities for increased market penetration.
- Analyze sales trends and market intelligence to support business growth initiatives.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead, coach, and motivate Field Sales Agents to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching support.
- Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and customer-centricity.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and sales processes.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Support the resolution of customer concerns and service-related issues.
- Represent the organization professionally within the assigned territory.
Reporting & Business Insights:
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates.
- Track key performance indicators and recommend improvement strategies.
- Provide management with insights on competitor activities and market opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' sales experience, with at least 2 years in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Experience within financial services, lending, fintech, or related sectors is highly desirable.
