We are looking for a commercially astute Tendering Manager to lead strategic bids, drive proposal excellence, and secure high-value opportunities across the Nigerian energy/oil and gas market.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end bid and tender management (EOI, PQQ, RFQ, RFP), ensuring compliant, timely submissions.
  • Develop and execute winning bid strategies and commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance) to deliver high-quality submissions.
  • Drive pricing, cost analysis, and commercial positioning for competitive advantage.
  • Manage submissions via NIPEX, ARIBA, and other e-procurement platforms.
  • Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and client insights to improve win rates.
  • Build strong relationships with IOCs, NNPC/NUIMS/NAPIMS, and key stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA/PMP is a plus).
  • 5 – 10+ years’ experience in tendering, bid management, or commercial roles within oil & gas [recruitmenttrust.com].
  • Proven experience developing and submitting winning technical & commercial bids [recruitmenttrust.com].
  • Strong understanding of contracting, pricing, and tendering frameworks.
  • Hands-on expertise with NIPEX, ARIBA, and similar bid platforms [jobzilla.ng].
  • Excellent proposal writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with IOCs and major oil & gas clients.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful bid wins (highly essential).
