Our client, a company operating in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Tendering & Business Development Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, tender preparation, and contract acquisition.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and source tender opportunities for electrical engineering and MEP projects.
- Prepare and submit competitive technical and commercial tenders, bids, and proposals.
- Develop accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project pricing.
- Identify potential clients and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Negotiate commercial terms and follow up on submitted tenders.
- Monitor tender outcomes and implement strategies to improve contract acquisition.
- Work with relevant technical teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering tendering, bidding, and business development.
- Demonstrated ability to identify tender opportunities and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation and tender documentation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- A proven track record of winning contracts will be a significant advantage.
