Role Title: Tender & Proposal Excellence Manager (Oil & Gas)

Role Overview
Invera Energy & Engineering is seeking a high-performing Tender & Proposal Excellence Manager to lead the development of winning, high-quality, and visually compelling bid submissions across oil & gas opportunities.
This role sits at the intersection of technical coordination, commercial positioning, and executive-level presentation.
You will not only manage tenders—you will architect proposals that win, ensuring clarity, structure, compliance, and premium delivery standards aligned with international expectations.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Tender Ownership & Execution
Lead the full lifecycle of tenders from RFQ/RFP release to final submission
Interpret client requirements and define a clear submission strategy
Develop and manage bid plans, timelines, and deliverables
Ensure timely and complete submission of all tender documents
🔹 Proposal Architecture & Content Structuring
Transform multi-source technical and commercial inputs into a clear, structured, and compelling proposal
Define logical flow, narrative, and document hierarchy across submissions
Ensure alignment between technical, commercial, and execution messaging
Translate complex technical concepts into clear and client-friendly language
🔹 Presentation & Document Excellence
Deliver visually clean, professional, and executive-level proposal documents
Apply strong formatting standards across all submissions (layout, typography, consistency)
Integrate visuals such as:
Process diagrams
Execution workflows
Tables and summary dashboards
Ensure proposals meet international standards expected by operators, EPCs, and global service companies
🔹 Compliance & Quality Assurance
Develop and manage detailed compliance matrices
Ensure alignment with:
Client specifications
NCDMB/local content requirements
Internal quality standards
Identify gaps early and drive resolution across teams.
🔹 Stakeholder Coordination
Interface with:
Engineering teams
Supply chain and logistics
Finance and commercial teams
External OEM and service partners
Drive accountability for timely and high-quality inputs.
🔹 Bid Strategy & Value Positioning
Support development of win strategies and differentiators
Contribute to commercial positioning and value articulation
Highlight competitive advantages in a clear and compelling manner.
🔹 Process & Template Development
Develop and maintain:
Proposal templates
Content libraries
Standard response frameworks
Contribute to building a structured tender management system within the organization
Requirements
🔹 Experience
5+ years experience in tendering, proposals, or commercial roles within oil & gas
Proven experience managing and submitting complex bids
Background with service companies, EPC contractors, or operators is highly preferred
🔹 Technical & Functional Understanding
Strong understanding of oil & gas operations (e.g., drilling, completions, subsea, production, or services)
Familiarity with tendering processes, bid documentation, and commercial structures
Working knowledge of Nigerian local content requirements
🔹 Presentation & Structuring Skills (Critical)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Strong ability to:
Structure content logically
Improve readability and flow
Present information clearly and professionally
Good visual judgment (layout, spacing, hierarchy—not graphic design heavy)
