Job summary
The Bank Teller is responsible for providing efficient and accurate cash and non-cash transaction services to customers while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires strict adherence to banking procedures, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments accurately.
- Handle cash responsibly and ensure proper balancing of cash at the end of each business day.
- Verify customer identification and transaction documents in line with bank policies.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide information on bank products and services.
- Identify customer needs and refer sales opportunities to relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation.
- Detect and report suspicious or fraudulent transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, KYC, AML, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers at all times.
- Support branch operations and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous banking or cash-handling experience is an added advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily transaction targets.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with banking applications.
