Role Description The Telemarketing Specialist will engage prospective and existing customers via outbound and inbound calls to introduce products or services, qualify leads, and support sales objectives. This remote role involves following structured call scripts, asking relevant discovery questions, documenting call outcomes in CRM tools, and routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members. Daily responsibilities include managing call lists, scheduling follow-up conversations or appointments, handling basic customer inquiries, and providing clear information about offerings. The Telemarketing Specialist will collaborate with sales and customer support teams, share feedback from customers, and contribute to the refinement of messaging and campaigns. Performance will be measured using metrics such as call volume, conversion rates, lead quality, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal articulation, active listening, and professional phone etiquette.
- Lead Generation and Sales skills to identify prospects, qualify opportunities, and support revenue growth.
- Customer Service and Customer Support skills to handle questions, address concerns, and ensure a positive caller experience.
- Comfort using CRM or call management systems, and ability to accurately record call notes and follow-up actions.
- Self-motivated and disciplined in a remote environment, with reliable internet access and a suitable workspace.
- Ability to meet or exceed call and conversion targets while maintaining quality and compliance with scripts and guidelines.
- Prior experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or call center roles is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in sales, customer service, or communications is a plus.
