Job Title: Telemarketer – Vendor Acquisition

Job Type: Contract (3 months)

Location: onsite – Ikoyi, Lagos State (Candidate residing in ikoyi, Lekki Phase 1, Victoria island , yaba or Ebute Metta are preferred).

Salary: NGN 110,000/Month


About the Role


Our client is a digital marketplace connecting event vendors (caterers, decorators, photographers, DJs, venues, makeup artists, MCs, planners, rental services, and more) with event organizers across Nigeria and beyond. Vendors can list their services and packages free of charge, giving them greater visibility and business opportunities.


Purpose


The Telemarketer – Vendor Acquisition will contact pre-extracted event vendors across Nigeria, introduce the platform, and encourage them to register and upload their service profiles onto the Event Vendor Management System (EVMS).


Key Responsibilities



Call vendors from the provided database and introduce the EVMS platform.



Explain the benefits of listing, including increased visibility, access to event organizers, free listing for the first 6–12 months, and a professional business profile.



Guide vendors through the registration process and answer basic questions.



Handle objections professionally using the approved call guide.



Follow up with interested vendors who have not completed registration.



Accurately record all call outcomes in the Daily Call Log.


Targets & Reporting



Make at least 80 outbound calls daily.



Achieve 30 vendor listings per week (120 monthly).



Submit the Daily Call Log at the end of each workday.



Attend weekly performance review meetings.


Conduct & Professionalism



Maintain a warm, professional, and helpful tone.



Accurately represent the platform, pricing, and features.



Escalate technical issues or vendor complaints promptly.


Required Skills



Strong verbal communication in English (Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa is an advantage).



Clear, confident, and persuasive telephone communication.



Basic smartphone/computer skills.



Ability to follow a structured call guide while adapting naturally.



Good listening, record-keeping, and data entry skills.
