Our dental clinic, dedicated to delivering exceptional oral healthcare, is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate should reside in the Lekki-Ajah area of Lagos and possess technical. We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Lekki. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to ensure smooth clinic operations. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
User Support:
- Respond promptly to technical inquiries from clinic staff, patients, and vendors.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues related to dental equipment, computers, and peripherals.
- Provide remote and on-site support as needed.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and repair dental equipment, including X-ray machines, sterilizers, and chairs.
- Collaborate with external service providers for specialized repairs.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally.
Software Management:
- Install, configure, and update dental software applications.
- Train staff on using dental practice management software.
- Troubleshoot software-related issues.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory of dental supplies, including ordering and restocking.
- Keep track of equipment warranties and maintenance schedules.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures to protect patient data and clinic systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and preventive maintenance.
- Create user manuals and guides for clinic staff.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to address technical needs.
- Liaise with vendors for equipment purchases and repairs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in technical support or IT roles.
- Familiarity with dental equipment and software preferred.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location: The ideal candidate must reside in the Lekki-Ajah area of Lagos.
