Technical Sales Support Engineer
Job summary
The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between customers, field sales teams, and technical solutions, providing technical guidance, product recommendations, pricing support, and alternative solutions based on customer needs and project specifications. This role is suited for someone with a strong electrical or mechanical engineering background
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support tendering and proposal processes by providing technical product recommendations and solution configurations.
- Provide technical support to customers based on project requirements, specifications, and application needs
- Recommend suitable product alternatives and equivalent solutions based on availability, pricing, and customer requirements
- Work closely with field sales teams to support technical discussions, quotations, and customer inquiries
- Interpret technical specifications and project requirements to recommend appropriate solutions
- Liaise with OEMs and partners, including Schneider Electric, on technical product inquiries and support requests
- Support pricing reviews, product availability checks, and solution comparisons for customers
- Prepare technical documentation, product schedules, and solution recommendations for client submissions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical products, power solutions, and industry trends
Requirements:
- Minimum BSC
- 5 years of previous experience in a similar role
