Technical Sales Support
Job summary
The Technical Sales Support Officer provides technical and administrative support to the Technical Sales team by ensuring the preparation of accurate technical documentation, commercial documents, product information, and customer support materials. The role also supports product knowledge initiatives, customer engagement, technical marketing.

Responsibilities:
Technical Documentation:
- Prepare, review, and update Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for all products.
- Develop and maintain Method Statements and Product Specification Documents.
- Prepare Product Warranty Certificates and Job Completion Forms.
- Ensure all technical documents are current, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
- Maintain an organized repository of all technical documents and product literature.
Commercial & Sales Support:
- Prepare quotations, invoices, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation.
- Assist the Sales team with technical proposals and bid submissions.
- Interpret customer technical requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
- Support the preparation of presentations and technical reports for clients.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely execution of customer requests.
Product Knowledge & Training:
- Organize and coordinate online webinars and product knowledge sessions for customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Conduct product induction and technical training for newly employed staff.
- Develop training materials and product manuals to improve technical competency across the business.
- Support continuous learning initiatives relating to Costarchem's products and applications.
Technical Marketing & Content Development:
- Research and write technical articles for the company website.
- Prepare technical and educational content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Develop product case studies, application guides, newsletters, and customer success stories.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote Costarchem's technical solutions and strengthen brand visibility.
Customer Technical Support:
- Respond to customer technical enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Provide technical advice on product selection, application, and performance.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints through appropriate technical recommendations.
- Support site inspections and prepare technical reports where required.
Product & Market Development:
- Gather market intelligence and competitor information.
- Recommend improvements to existing products based on customer feedback.
- Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and technical events representing Costarchem.
Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports.
- Maintain accurate records of technical support activities and customer interactions.
- Ensure all documentation is completed within agreed timelines.
- Perform other technical sales support duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- A minimum of a BSc in any related field
