Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Requirements:
- Be a good and experienced driver with a valid driver’s License.
- Degree in life sciences (such as food science and technology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or biomedical sciences).
- Flair for sales or marketing and an appreciation of what sales involves
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- An outgoing and confident approach.
- Commercial and business awareness.
- The ability to understand and present Food Safety Diagnostics data and Analysis.
- The flexibility to cope with frequent changes in products and Quality control and assurance systems.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
