Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Attend to walk-in customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products
- Provide clear and accurate technical advice on lubricants, engine oils, transmission fluids, brake fluids, and related automotive products
- Build strong product knowledge across all inventory to support effective sales
- Maintain proper product display, cleanliness, and organization within the store
- Monitor stock levels and support restocking and inventory control processes
- Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records where required
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Contribute to achieving daily and monthly sales targets
- Stay updated on product specifications, new arrivals, and industry trends
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND, HND, or equivalent qualification
- Basic knowledge of automotive fluids and lubricants is required
- Previous experience in retail sales, especially within the automotive sector, is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear and simple manner
- Good customer service orientation with a proactive approach to sales
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Must stay within Surulere
