Job summary
We are looking for a Technical Operations Lead who combines technical depth (DevOps/AWS/security) with strong execution and coordination skills. This role is critical to ensuring our engineering team operates efficiently, systems remain stable, and deployments are properly managed. You will initially support the existing team & other workstreams.

Responsibilities:
Technical & DevOps Oversight:
- Oversee AWS infrastructure (EC2, ECS, CloudFront, Route 53, etc.)
- Ensure stable deployments across DEV, QA, and PROD environments
- Manage environment variables, secrets, and configuration consistency
- Monitor system health and identify potential risks early
- Dual as the programme manager, project supervisor, and first point for any technical or systems issues
- Validate and approve technical changes before deployment
- Daily management and unblocking of teams, assigning tasks, access, and troubleshooting
- Team management, project planning, technical unblocking, and team meetings management
Security & Compliance:
- Implement and manage secure access controls (IAM, roles, permissions)
- Oversee secrets management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager)
- Ensure safe handling of API keys and credentials
- Enforce best practices in system security, infrastructure hardening and backups management
Project & Execution Management:
- Coordinate daily activities across developers, DevOps, and designers
- Assign clear ownership of tasks and track delivery timelines
- Identify blockers and ensure quick resolution
- Run standups and maintain structured communication
- Ensure smooth collaboration between frontend, backend, and DevOps
Requirements:
- Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and deployments
- Background in DevOps, backend development, or system engineering
Solid Understanding of:
- API integrations and system architecture
- Frontend - backend communication
- CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Experience managing or coordinating technical teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Skills:
- Be committed, Have Integrity, Not Distracted and Avalable even oitside working hours
- Experience with AI or SaaS platforms and Project Management as technical person
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerised environments
- Experience with monitoring tools and logging systems
- Previous role as Technical PM, DevOps Lead, or Engineering Lead
