Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and administrative support to the Chief Development Officer on multiple development and construction projects.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of commercial real estate and infrastructure projects.
- Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports for compliance and quality.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, and deliverables, providing regular updates and recommendations.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, engineering standards, industry codes, and health and safety requirements.
- Conduct technical analyses, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations to support decision-making.
- Participate in project meetings, prepare minutes, follow up on action items, and ensure timely execution.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing technical submissions and evaluating contractor performance.
- Assist in resolving technical issues that may arise during project execution.
- Prepare presentations, reports, project dashboards, and executive briefs for management.
- Perform other technical and strategic assignments as may be required by the Chief Development Officer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 5–6 years' relevant experience in commercial real estate development, construction, or project management.
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex construction or development projects from concept through completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery processes, and facility maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of relevant building regulations, engineering standards, and industry codes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong project planning, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar applications is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and the ability to interpret technical drawings will be an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
