Team Lead, Business Development
Job summary
We are looking for a high-performing and results-driven Team Lead to drive aggressive growth in our loans and investment portfolio. This role is strictly for individuals with a strong sales background who can lead from the front, deliver results, and manage a team to meet and exceed targets consistently.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive a team of Business Development Officers to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
- Take full ownership of team performance, revenue generation, and portfolio growth
- Actively source new clients and close high-value deals (this is a hands-on role)
- Set clear targets and monitor daily/weekly team performance
- Ensure proper client onboarding, documentation, and compliance with company policies
- Track loan performance and ensure timely repayments within your portfolio
- Provide regular performance reports and updates to management
- Identify market opportunities and implement strategies to outperform competitors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales/business development (financial sector required)
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Good understanding of loan and investment products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong background in loan marketing or financial sales
- Highly target-driven and comfortable working under pressure
- Street-smart with strong client acquisition skills
- Results-oriented with a “get it done” mindset
- High level of professionalism and accountability
