Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain corporate and individual insurance client relationships.
- Develop and place insurance business with appropriate underwriters.
- Review policies and ensure adequate coverage for clients.
- Coordinate claims processing and follow up with insurance companies.
- Support business development and retention of existing clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant insurance regulations and internal procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be ACIIN qualified (Associate, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria).
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in an insurance brokerage firm.
- Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage operations, policies, claims, underwriting, and client relationship management.
- Experience in preparing insurance quotations, negotiating with insurers, and managing client portfolios.
- Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the Nigerian insurance industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-management skills.
- Must be professional, proactive, commercially aware, and results-oriented.
