Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report students' academic performance and progress.
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor students' attendance, behavior, and overall well-being.
- Identify students requiring additional support and implement appropriate interventions.
- Prepare and administer classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and school events.
- Maintain accurate academic records and ensure confidentiality of student information.
- Promote the school's values, policies, and code of conduct.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- Teaching certification (NCE) or license (where applicable).
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
