Tax Associate
Job summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Associate to support tax compliance, tax computations, audits, research, and engagements with tax authorities.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other statutory tax returns.
- Prepare tax computations, schedules, and reconciliations.
- Support tax audits and investigations with FIRS, LIRS, and other tax authorities.
- Respond to tax queries and assist with assessments.
- Conduct tax research and support tax advisory activities.
- Maintain accurate tax records and monitor compliance deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years' relevant tax experience.
- Experience with FIRS/LIRS and TaxProMax.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws.
- ICAN, ACCA, or CITN qualification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
