Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Accountant located in Lagos. The Tax Accountant will oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and assist in tax planning. Responsibilities include managing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring adherence to fiscal policies. The role also involves working collaboratively with the team to provide financial guidance and support to clients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Tax Preparation, Tax Compliance, and Tax regulations
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
- Strong skills in Accounting and related financial processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is a plus
