Job summary
We are looking to hire a Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist. Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates.
- Build relationships with external recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and professional networks to identify potential talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, create job descriptions, and design effective hiring processes.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and a professional approach throughout the recruitment process.
- Track recruitment metrics to measure the success of sourcing and hiring strategies.
Employee Retention and Engagement:
- Design and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to identify trends and opportunities for improving retention.
- Partner with leadership to develop career development programs and growth opportunities for employees.
- Monitor industry trends to ensure competitive compensation, benefits, and workplace practices.
- Lead initiatives to foster a sense of belonging and inclusion, supporting the overall employee experience.
Employer Branding:
- Strengthen the company’s employer brand by promoting a positive image to potential candidates and the wider talent market.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling recruitment marketing materials, including job postings, social media content, and employee testimonials.
- Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and other networking opportunities to attract talent.
HR Systems and Reporting:
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate and recruitment data.
- Generate reports on recruitment and retention metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Leverage HR analytics to identify and address gaps in talent acquisition and retention efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR roles.
- Proven success in developing and implementing recruitment and retention strategies.
- Technical know-how of various HRIS Software applications such as HR Breezy
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and employees at all levels.
- Expertise in sourcing techniques, including social media recruiting and networking.
- Ability to design and execute engagement and retention programs effectively.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making.
- High level of adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
