Job summary
The Unisex Fashion Designer is responsible for designing, cutting, sewing, altering, and finishing fashionable clothing for both male and female customers. The successful candidate must demonstrate creativity, excellent sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret customers' ideas into well-fitted, stylish, and high-quality
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce clothing for both men and women, including native wear, casual outfits, corporate attire, gowns, trousers, shirts, skirts, jackets, and other fashion items.
- Develop creative designs based on customers' preferences, current fashion trends, and the business's product offerings.
- Interpret customers' sketches, pictures, samples, and descriptions to produce the desired outfits.
- Take accurate body measurements and maintain proper measurement records for customers.
- Draft patterns, cut fabrics accurately, sew garments, and carry out necessary finishing.
- Make alterations, repairs, adjustments, and fittings to ensure garments fit properly.
- Ensure that all completed garments meet the required standards of quality, durability, neatness, and appearance.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
- A minimum of SSCE
