Job summary
The Tailor is responsible for assembling garment components according to approved specifications while ensuring high-quality finishing and meeting daily production targets.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assemble bundled garment components using industrial sewing machines.
- Execute specialized sewing tasks, including collars, lining panels, pockets, zippers, and other closures.
- Maintain proper seam pressing and clean finishing throughout the sewing process.
- Inspect work for quality and promptly report machine faults, fabric defects, or production issues to the Production Lead.
- Meet daily production targets while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an SSCE
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in unisex garment production and fashion manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of unisex garment construction, measurements, fabrics, and finishing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achieve assigned daily production targets.
- Maintain an internal rework rate below 3%.
- Ensure consistent adherence to structural and clean-finish quality standards.
