Job summary
We are seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bottled water production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily bottled water production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate manpower, machinery, and materials for efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the production process.
- Minimize production downtime by identifying and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Monitor production output and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
- Ensure all bottled water products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor water treatment, filtration, purification, bottling, capping, labeling, and packaging processes.
- Conduct routine quality checks and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Supervise, train, and motivate production operators and factory workers.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor employee performance.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-the-job training.
- Foster teamwork, discipline, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor the performance of production machinery and equipment.
- Report equipment faults promptly and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure production equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of machine downtime and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven years of supervisory experience in a bottled water, beverage, food processing, or FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of bottled water production processes and manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production reporting tools.
